Impermax
Waterproofing Membrane
Impermax Aqua is a revolutionary installation
service offering the ultimate in strength, flexibility and longevity.
Applied to any new or existing pool, it is a hand applied polyurethane
membrane which is built up in layers to create a 3mm (120thou) pool
skin with a tough, coloured surface – the overall system is
durable enough to warrant a 25 year guarantee!

The process is simple, but the product is ingenious.
The pool shell/structure should be clean and dry with
major repair works, such as re-rendering, completed, but minor cracks
and seams can be covered and sealed as part of the installation.
The pool is first primed before two layers of flexible, self levelling
Impermax Aqua are applied – with a stretch factor of 400%,
even the greatest movements in pool structures won’t compromise
this membrane.
Top coats of Colodur 60% complete the process and
give the coloured, almost unbreakable, surface. As the primer, Impermax
Aqua and Colodur 60% are all polyurethane based, their bonding to
each other is 100% sound.
The finished product is a completely seamless lining which can cover
all aspects of the pool including steps, pits, troughs, ledges and
other awkward angles and shapes which sometimes cannot be lined
traditionally. The membrane is fully UV resistant and combats staining,
scratching and pool water chemicals.
Both Impermax Aqua and Colodur 60% are BBA and ETA
approved.
Poolworks are approved installers of these products.

layers to offer extra strength.

decorative finishes which have water oss issues, such as mosaic,
marbelite/pacelite and decorated pools, along with offering protection
and all its qualities as a sealant to pool surrounds whether they
be stone, tile or timber.
• Curing time is required between layers.
• After final coat, a cure time of 10 days is required before
adding water. Pool chemicals can then be added 5 days after this
for the 25 year warranty to be valid.
